The University building, centred around an atrium, houses the departments of History, English and Modern Languages in three wings of different heights, all wrapped in the repeating geometrical pattern of a 3-colour shade scheme
Schneider delivered a double-skin, high acoustic and naturally ventilated façade combining coloured glass and perforated stainless steel which is attached to ventilation slots and internal oak windows.
The scope of works included tall aluminium curtain walling for the ground floor and energy efficient technologies, demonstrated in the timber-aluminium compound windows.
